Blendmount – Escort Radar Detector Mount

A few months ago I signed up to participate as a beta tester of the MGT Motorsports BBE (Blendmount Beltronics Escort) which is a mount for Escort and Beltronics radar detectors that attaches to the stem of most car's rear view mirrors.

The install was straight-forward, just tighten around rear view mirror stem:

The kit came with everything you could possibly need to install the mount; a bushing to make the mount fit thinner mirror stems, spare screws, two allen wrenches, zip ties for cable management, soft pad touch strips and a nice little container the extra parts are stored in.

I am extremely happy with this product, I have been looking for a good mount for my Escort Passport 8500 x50 for months, that doesn't use suction cups and can keep my radar detector in place. I was getting very annoyed with my radar detector vibrating on my windshield with the stock suction cup mount and my subwoofer. It was also annoying to open my car after it being parked in the parking lot at work all day to find the radar detector fell off the windshield because the suction cups released in the heat.
